Arlene, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband Richard (Dickie). I remember when you both started dating. Cherish all the wonderful years you had together. Some people never find that special one in life. You and Richard did. It may not have been for as many years as you had hoped for, but the years you had were special. Sorry I didn't make it to the service. I'm a shift worker now and didn't find out until I returned from days off. I wish you strength in the days and months to come.

So saddened to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with him at 52 Division Detective Office around 2001-2003. He was one of the most enjoyable people to be around and had a terrific sense of humour. I have thought of him often...and especially now.

I worked with "Dickie" for several years in the Detective Office at 52 Division. We spent many long nights together sharing a few good laughs and shedding a few tears as well.
Rest well my friend, you have earned it!

Hello Arlene, I'm sorry I couldn't get there this evening. I just want to say thank you for allowing me to get to know Richard. He was very funny with me on his good days, he was always ready to a come back when I would joke with him. I hope you can step back and breath now, you have been through an ordeal with everything. Take care and, enjoy your family.

Arlene-- Richard is now at Peace
I have many wonderful memories of our projects and fun times after his retirement. His sense of humour always came out just when we needed a lighter moment during our many & sometimes long fundraising projects to help youth and people in our community. He made a difference and that is what we will remember him for always
Deepest Condolence to you
