Obituary of Violet Mary Jean Spera

SPERA, Violet Mary Jean

October 2, 1925 - November 7, 2018

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Violet Spera at Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the age of 93 years old.   Beloved wife of the late Edward Spera.  Violet will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Jane Ann (John) Bawden, her brothers Allan (Joyce) Parker, Robert (Mel ) Parker, John (Ingrid) Parker, sister Carol Marshall and sister-in-law Barb Parker.  Predeceased by her mother and father Stan and Jennie Parker, brothers Stan, George, Ray, Jim , sister Shirley Parker and sisters-in-law Jean and Margaret.  Sadly missed by great-grandaughter Hannah and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Ridgeview for their kind, compassionate care to Violet and a special thank you to Violets PSW companion Danielle and Rev. Lola.  Violet had a strong will and kind heart.  She had made many close friends playing cards and square dancing.  Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Stoney Creek Cemetery.  Flowers gratefully declined.  Donations in Violet’s memory maybe made to the Alzheimers Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
