With extremely heavy hearts the family of Zivka Bikic announces her passing on October 22, 2018 at Clarion Nursing Home. Devoted wife of 56 years to the late Miroslav. She made a home wherever she was, even when it meant following her husband to a new country in 1964 where they raised their four children and made many friends. Lovingly remembered by her children Mirjana (Shaun), Ljiljana, and Vojislav. Predeceased by son Slobodan. Zivka was also blessed with three beautiful granddaughters - Natasha, Chloe and Bayleigh. Special thanks to the staff at Clarion Nursing Home for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Thursday at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Fr. Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
