FORD, Cecilia Catherine

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville, in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Hilton (1983). Cherished mother of Marie (John), Nora (Tim). Loved grandmother of Derek (Tiffany), Wayne (Liz), Craig (Nicole), Katrina and great-grandmother of Joy, Mason, Grace, Lena, Talia and Kayden. Cecilia will be remembered for her love of volunteering. She volunteered with Tele-touch, SOS and was a lifetime member of the Horticultural Society. Cecilia was proud to receive the Stoney Creek Volunteer Recognition Award. She was also a devoted member of the CWL for over 85 years and cherished her time at St. Francis Xavier Parish. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, 735 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek.
