Obituary of Margarete Rubanetz

RUBANETZ, Margarete (Gretl) 

Peacefully at Ridgeview L.T.C. surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in her 94^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Wasile.  Wonderful Mama to Daria (Rick) and Brigitte.  Born in Czechoslovakia to Johann and Albina Schussel.  Margarete is predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters, a nephew, cousins and several other close relatives in Germany.  She has always put her family before herself and has been and remains best friend to her daughters. Cremation has taken place.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.  In Margarete’s memory,  donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare or Ridgeview L.T.C. would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be sent at www.donaldvbrown.ca
