Obituary of Boro Mijatovic

MIJATOVIC, Boro

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Boro Mijatovic announces his passing after a battle with cancer, on September 8^th, 2018 at the age of 89.   Boro will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jelicia of 65 years and with their children; son Risto and daughter-in-law Slobodanka; daughter Lepa Cirjak and son-in-law Zoran.  Deda will also be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Aleksandra with her husband Simon, Mirjana, Aleksandar with his wife Jessica, Adriana and Evren. He will be forever cherished in the hearts of his live siblings – his brothers Risto and Savo and his sister Gospova along with their respective families. Boro will never be forgotten by the Kovinjalo family, his kumovi, and will always be in the hearts of all his nieces, nephews and friends not only in Canada, but also by those in the United States and across Europe.  The family would like to thank the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their tender care during his final days.  Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Ave Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m.   Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. South, Hamilton on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  with the Very Reverend Father Dejan Obradovic officiating., interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated.  Notes of Sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
