McCARTHY, Shamilla

Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the age of 47. Best friend, cherished and devoted mother of Daniel. Loved sister of Parotan, Diantee, Byron, Mena, Jonathan, Cinty, the late Veena, Irene, Indira, David, Joy and Hema from Canada, USA and Trinidad. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 3 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Reception to follow at Victory International Church, 2799 Barton St. E., Hamilton.
