My sympathies to Wayne And Linda Osborne and your family for the loss of your father. It's been a long time but, I still have the odd memories of the past. He was a good man, husband, father, grandfather etc. We drift a part for whatever reasons but somehow, something always seems to bring people together, unfortunately, this time it was the loss of a loved one. At this time we should all celebrate the life that Bob had and cherish whatever memories we have of him and share them with others. With dearest sympathies, Paul Bartley

Bob was a true pioneer of our sport & enjoyed Stock car racing,so much so that it brushed off on Barry,Ralph,Bobby & Dylan .As my father said,Bob was atrue gentleman of our sport ,especially at merrittville &Speedway Park .This photo is from 1960. Rick Kavanagh.

Michelle &I are just returning from eastern Canada . I had a call from St.Catharines Standard re; Bob Davidson .&that's when it struck me ,something had happened.I AM SO GLAD THAT ALL OF US on the Merrittville Speedway Reunion Committee were able to fulfill Bob(R.C.'s) wish to do a lap around Merrittville in his stock car.on Aug.4/18. We were all hoping for him to reach his 90th &glad we could help him celebrate that evening,during Barry's induction. To Barry ,Ralph & all the Davidson family ,we will share in remembering R.C. by lowering the flag ,for our final night of Sportsman racing,this Saturday . We send our heart felt condolences; Rick Kavanagh &Family on behalf of the Merrittville Speedway Reunion Committee.
