It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill who was an honest, hardworking and wonderful man. Who lived for his family's happiness and was always there for them. He will be remembered as a man who was kind, loved to laugh, joke around and have fun. He made friends everywhere he went. He took pride in being a  Wedding Photographer. He passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Friday, August 10, 2018. He was in his 78th year. He was a devoted, loving and supportive husband to Deanna (nee Kondrat) for 57 years. He was an amazing and loving father to Pam (Bruce Matys), Lynn (Bill Gowan), Billy (Marysol Casado). His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will hold him in their hearts; Jennifer (Jim Degrow), Bryan, Christopher (Stacey Grice), Sarah, Steven, Daniel, Lilly, Devon, Ella, Zoey and Alexzander.  A special thank you goes out to all the staff at the Juravinski Hospital who cared for Bill in the past few months. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek.  A private family interment will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be much appreciated.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
