I remember how much my mother enjoyed her family when she went back to her real home. She loved her brother, Uncle Larry, very much and I loved watching the two of them together and hearing her stories. Our hearts long for them but our souls know they are at peace.

So sorry to hear of your loss. He led a long and fulfilled life.
Funny how our actions, sometimes unbenounced to us happen for a reason.
You came to Monteal, made a life here and had a successful business yet, there came a time where you felt your place was back in Toronto . Someone up there wanted you to go home and spend time with your parents.
That was your place.
It took a toll on you, but I’m sure you are so glad you got to spend this time with your parents. They appreciated it also.
Sorry we cannot be there by your side, but we will be there is spirit.
Thinking of you

Uncle Larry always had a friendly smile and enjoyed joking with us.
Uncle Larry & Aunt Freda were a very happy & content couple whom we felt very comfortable around.
My parents welcomed them to our cottage where we enjoyed Aunt Freda’s gentle smile & Uncle Larry’s sense of humour.
Sincere condolences to family and friends of Uncle Larry from Nephew John Lalonde, my siblings Paul, Mary & Anne.

My thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins at this time. Uncle Larry was my Godfather and fun to be around. His picture here is exactly as I remember him. He will be missed.

Taken in 2012 at the Harris towers Christmas Party. I love this photo. From the left we have Irene, Carol, Merrie Calder, Pat, Larry and Freda. All part of the Friday night Bid Euchre.

We are so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. I wish we had gone to see him more often at Amica but time just hadn't permitted it.
Larry was a very true and exceptional person who always told it like it is. He and Freda were the first people we met when we moved to Harris Towers and we became very good friends. Larry loved his bid euchre and cribbage and wasted no time in talking us into joining him in the weekly games. He was forever finding new ways to screw up his computer and I spent many hours fixing it for him. He was always ready with a box of chocolates for Merrie and a wee drink of rum with me.
We can honestly say we loved him and Freda and this loss is very hard to cope with. I know it is so much harder for you, his family. Please accept our deepest sympathy and they will forever be in our hearts and memory.
