WESTPHAL, Al (William Alexander)

Peacefully, on July 29^th 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 77^th year.  Al will be remembered by his son Rick Westphal (Melinda), daughter Vicky Lynn Haight and grandson Aiden.  Survived by his sisters Bridget Deavu (Brian) and Shirley Cyopeck.  Predeceased by his mother Florence Westphal, brother Charlie Westphal and brother-in-law Jack Cyopeck.  Al will also be missed by his friends Ronnie Dunn, Sue Schaller, Pam & Glenn Ostrosser, Jean Culbert and all his friends in Florida.  Al was a retired employee with Stelco.  Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 11 until the time of Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamilton/Burlington SPCA would be appreciated.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
