Debbie and Family: I was so sorry to hear about Colleen's passing but feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have spent so much time with her either at the house when she stayed for a couple of weeks or when I visited her in Ontario. I will always remember her off color jokes and laugh and will treasure all the beautiful memories we made over the years. My heartfelt condolences and sympathy to everyone.

In May on the day when all the sisters were together, I asked Colleen if she minded if I took her picture and she just looked at me and gave me this little smile. I love this picture of Colleen.

A picture of all the sisters together in May 2018. I'm so happy that all the sisters were able to be together for that picture.

Dear Debbie. We were so very sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a special lady and had the most wonderful sense of humor, always saying something witty or outrageous. So many times she showed what a heart of gold she had, and I'll always be so thankful to her for the weeks she spent here in Sydney while my dad was terminally ill... I know that her presence and her sense of humor was something that helped Mom and all of us so much, at a time when we so dearly needed help in dealing with what was happening around us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love Rose and Donnie

Aunt Colleen was a very special person, and I am thankful to have many wonderful memories of her, from childhood days to a recent visit in May with Mom ...Vera, Colleen's sister. During our visit, we spent a lot of time with Colleen and Aunt Geraldine was always there with us too. It was at that time in May when all the sisters were able to get together for an afternoon of sharing stories and many good laughs, and pictures. We will miss our visits with Colleen but I feel certain that the day will come when we will meet again. Thinking of all Colleen's family at this sad time. Love Rose (Pendergast) and Donnie Courage, Sydney, Nova Scotia
