KEACHIE, Robert (Bob)

1933-2018

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Dad, surrounded and comforted by his family until his final breath at St. Peter’s Hospital, Friday July 20th. A man of integrity and few words, he remained determined until the end.  His riches were his strong and loving family. Predeceased  in 2007 by the love of his life Annette, we are comforted they are together again. Predeceased also by his son Garth. Dear father of  Bonnie Santino in Hamilton,  Carrie McElroy and her husband Stephen in Grimsby , Darren Woodworth and his wife Jennifer in Hamilton.  Proud  Grandpa to 8 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Bob and Annette were inseparable during their marriage enjoying travel, golf and their family.  He missed her dearly over the last 11 years.  Bob became an avid card player in his later years, enjoying tournaments and weekly games with his friends at Club 60, Rosedale and Winona Seniors Centres. Our family sends special thanks to the wonderful staff, nurses and doctors at St. Peters hospital.  In honour of our Dad’s wishes, cremation will take place followed by a Private family celebration of his life. Expressions of sympathy could be made through donations to St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation.
