Obituary of Margaret Lambie

LAMBIE, Margaret 

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret at St. Joseph's Hospital on July 14, 2018 in her 89th year surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband William. Dear mother to Margaret and her husband Bill, William Jr. and his wife Karen, Peter and his wife Michele. Margaret was a loving Nana to her nine grandchildren and 10½ great-grandchildren. Margaret will also be missed by her dear friends, who really are family, Peter and Annette Handlin. She will join good company in heaven and will be thrilled to see her beloved Bill, much loved son-in-law Henry Popek, her parents, all her 7 siblings and many friends from her past. She is survived by many family members back home in Scotland and England. Special thanks to the staff at Lakeview Retirement Centre and St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Church - Hwy #8, Stoney Creek at 10 a.m. Notes of sympathy and condolences may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
