GARCIA, Maria Elena

Maria passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the age of 68. Loving mother of Karina Vasquez (Antonio), Julio (Aida), William (Claudia), Roger, Helen Garcia, Ana Barrondo (Pedro), Dario (Joan), Daniel (Miranda) and Raquel Garcia (Mark). Cherished Ama to Amalie, Heber, Francine, James, Rosie, Jackie, Lilyana, Jaeylin, Karen, Jordan, Jonathan, Julien, Bentley, Giancarlo and one expected, baby Maldonado. Will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings in Guatemala, Canada and the United States, along with many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, July 21 at 9 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
