Obituary of Sarah Kane

KANE, Sarah 

Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 80. Cherished mother to Clark Gunther Wieland, Silvia “Tish” Wieland, and Cynthia Wieland (Domenic). Proud grandmother to Andrea, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Tishanna, Danny, Saveria, and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Clark Kane and Sarah Kane. Loving sister to Thomas Kane (Betty), Margaret (the late Jack), the late William (Chrissy), the late George (Ethel), the late Betty (Robert), and Jim (Marilyn). Sarah is also survived by her ex-husband Fred Wieland. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
