Obituary of Spiro Culic

CULIC, Spiro

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Spiro on the evening of Thursday, May 17, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Spiro, born in Crni Lug, Bosna, was 68 years old. He will be forever missed by his wife of 43 years Milka, sons Aleksandar (Tanya), Nikola (Nevena), and Petar (Bonnie), grandchildren Vuk, Mila, and Filip, brother Ljubisa (Stana), aunt Joka Ljuboja (USA), sister-in-law Smilja (Nikola Trkulja), and his many nieces, nephews, kumovi, and prijatelji. Beloved son of parents predeceased Lazo and Ana, siblings Veljko, Dragan, Milka, and Milos. Spiro’s family extend a very warm thanks to the staff and nurses at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre and Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Monday, May 21, 2018, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1415 Barton Street East, Hamilton, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic and The Very Reverend Father Stevo Stojsavljevich officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church.
