Hi Allison, I remember the first four Dominican volunteer trips which started off with you and Rob picking me up and we all went to the school to begin the trip. After we got over the shock of Rob's sudden death, the memories came flooding back. Most of all the backyard barbecues and Christmas parties for the neighbours on Bland Avenue, or seeing Rob and Allison (usually accompanied by George & Ann and all the dogs) walking down the street. Even something as simple as just stopping for a quick chat in the driveway now and then will be remembered fondly. Rob and Allison were a great team and really helped make this street the nicest place to live anywhere. They went out of their way to make everyone feel appreciated, and new people feel welcome. This is a very sad time, but we will always think of Rob laughing or having a smile on his face ... and that will never fail to put smiles on ours.
