Please accept our condolences. Colin was a good friend to Margaret and we will always appreciate his kindness to her. Margaret loved the times when they had tea and conversation together and appreciated the souvenirs he would bring back for her from the Ti-Cat games. Colin will be missed.

Dear Al & Anne, Bruce & Janet, and families,
I was so very sorry to learn of Colin's passing. I did not know Colin but heard so many wonderful stories about him over the years. I know this is a most difficult time in the loss of one so cherished and dear to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I had the pleasure of working with Colin at Amity and witnessed his daily joy of life and the love of his colleagues.
The Goodwill Games and monthly workers meeting were highlights for Colin. I can recall his pride at being named employee of the month.
Colin was a gentle soul and Susan and I both wish him peace and rest in God's house.
Warmest regards,
Barry and Susan Coe

It was very sad to hear of Colin’s passing.
His father Sam was the Drum Major for the WH Porter Flute and Drum Band, and Colin was a proud member as well. In his younger years he participated as a fluter, and I recall a Stoney Creek Flag Day parade that instead of wearing the bands’ red tunic uniform, Colin paraded in his Argyle uniform complete with kilt and glengarry.
I haven’t seen Colin for several years, but used to run into him in the barber shop in Stoney Creek where he always greeted me with a smile and tales of the Ticats. When he could no longer march with the band Colin still attended every parade, and he enjoyed partaking in the band’s many social activities. A favourite story of Colin’s was the unseasonably warm Santa Claus parade in Caledonia, when it was so hot and sunny that Colin enjoyed an ice cream cone while sitting on the curb and watching “his band” march past.
Colin was an integral part of “The Porter Band” and we extend the band’s condolences to his family.

Sad to hear of Colin’s passing. Growing up he was always cheerful and a good friend to all who lived on Adair Ave. I haven’t seen him in very like no time, but when our family talks of the old days, Colin is always part of the conversation. The entire Forsythe family was a pleasure to let be across the street from during my youth.
Rest In Peace Colin.
My condolences to the rest of the family.

Sleep tight my beautiful cousin. I may be miles away in Scotland, but I never stopped loving you and thought of you every day. I remember us both crying when I had to return to Scotland. Our time together as children had a lasting effect on me and I will be forever grateful for that.
Your sunny personality affected anyone who was lucky enough to have known you.
Until we meet again my darling Colin.
Your wee Scottish cousin

To Al, Bruce, Anne, Janet and family, our sincere condolences. Two brothers never worked so well together to take care of their brother as you did. You made sure he was always included in the family events, took him on trips, made sure he had all he needed to be comfortable and more. We know you will miss him. Colin is now with Mom and Dad giving them his one liners. May he be at peace.
