Obituary of George Ronald Flaherty

FLAHERTY, George Ronald (Ron) Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, October 16, 2010, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Flaherty (Cooke). Loved father of George and his wife Barbara, Patrick and Avegale, Rhonda and her husband Alan Cormier. Dear grandfather of Rachael, Devlin, Shannon, Ryan and A.J. Dear brother of Virginia Flaherty. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek (due to road construction please follow Second St. north from King St. turn right on Charles St.) on Wednesday, October 20th from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
