Obituary of Neza (Agnes) Stegne

STEGNE, Neza (Agnes) 

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Neza (Agnes)  at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in her 94^th year.  Born October 28^th, 1924 in Vinica, Slovenia.  Loved wife of the late Mirko (Mike).  Loving mother of Michael. Survived by her sister  Slavica  and  nieces and nephews, cousins, and relatives  in Canada and Slovenia   Predeceased by her sisters Katica and Anica and her brother Jozef.  Special thanks to Dr. Ralph Profetto, Dr. Csordas, Dr. Duong, the P.S.W.’s and Juravinski  nurses and staff who cared for Neza.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, March 1, 2018  from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Parkway N., Hamilton on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10 a.m.  Interment Mountview Gardens.  Memorial donations to Juravinski Hospital  would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be sent at www.donaldvbrown.ca
