MOUNTAIN , Walterina Myrtle (nee Corlett)
Passed away peacefully at Ridgeview Long Term Care, Stoney Creek on February 15, 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Clarence Mountain for over 66 years. Loving mother of Dean and his wife Rosemary of Burlington, Rhonda Klim and her husband David of Beamsville, and Donald and his wife Bena of London. A son Dennis passed away at the Hanover Hospital on June 2, 1952. Cherished grandmother to Graeme Klim of Villezy, France; Evan Klim of Ottawa; Elaine Klim of Beamsville; and Vanessa Mountain and Lesley Mountain of Burlington. Dear sister of Arnold Corlett and his wife Ruby of Hanover and Coralie Corlett of Elora; and sister-in-law of Earl and Gail Mountain of Durham. Predeceased by her parents William and Myrtle Corlett, sisters Marjorie (Dan) Kobe and Joyce (Maurice) Myers of Hanover, and brother-in-law Allie Mountain of Durham. Walterina enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. For many years, she was an active member of the Winona Horticultural Society and volunteered at the Winona Peach Festival. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, February 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Fifty United Church, 1457 # 8 Highway, Winona on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, # 8 Highway, Stoney Creek.
