CAMPBELL, Lucas Craig
It is with great sadness that the family of Lucas Craig Campbell announces his sudden passing on Saturday, January 27, at the age of 34. Lucas will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jessica, his sister Samantha and her husband Matthew, mother Renee, father Craig, stepmother Christine, stepfather Brian, in-laws Kim, Ron, and brothers-in-law Ryan and Gabe. Lucas will also be lovingly remembered by his Opa and Oma, Peter and Eline Homan, his stepsisters Sammy and Carling, and stepbrother Leland. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Mel and Lois Campbell. Growing up in Stoney Creek, Luke attended Orchard Park High School. A graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College, he became a resources drilling technician. Luke was a very proud employee of Davis Drilling in Milton, ON. His passion for his work once saw him travelling Canada’s famed ice highways in search of diamonds. Blessed with a brilliant smile, boundless energy and a kind heart, Luke had a lifelong love of family, the great outdoors and all of God’s creatures. An avid snowboarder, sailor, and boater, Luke and Jessica often spent their days on Ontario’s waterways. Luke lived with his wonderful wife Jessica and puppy Pom in their Milton home. Family will receive friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on February 2, 2018 at 12 p.m. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA (http://hbspca.com/donate/single-gift/).
