Obituary of Barbara Lucy Green

GREEN, Barbara Lucy (nee Keeble)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on January 6, 2018, after a year long battle with cancer, at the age of 85. Once again reunited with her husband Carl and her feline companion Cleo. Beloved mother of David and Holly Green and Carlene and Angelo Olivieri. Deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren who meant the world to her, Eric (Lyndsay), Alicia (Dan), Andrea Olivieri and Erin Green. Survived by her brother Arthur Roy Keeble and his wife Barb. Also waiting to welcome mom are her sisters Dorothy Keeble and Lois Reynolds. The family would like to thank the many wonderful family and friends who have meant so much to our mom especially Debbie and Terry Roy, Marion and Bob Varden, George and Marlene Wingfield and her “Card Group” who always made sure she made it to every monthly get together or brought the get together to her when she was unable to make it on her own. Thank you to Dr. Ellis for your care and kindness over this last year and to St. Peter’s Hospital and the wonderful staff on 3 West. Your care and kindness over her last days gave such comfort to her family. Dave and Carlene and their families, would like to thank all of their friends for their support over this last year. Your love and support has meant more than words can say. As per our mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A private celebration of a life well lived will be held at a later date. Contributions to St. Peter’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
