To John and Doug and Suzie and Nicole We will always remember LaVerne. She was such a great cook and always send up food for mom after dad died. Every time we came to visit, there were her egg salad sandwiches in the fridge along with soup etc. She would insist that we had to be hungry after the long trip. I also remember her love for animals: Pepper the dog, the skunk, the chipmunks that she bought peanuts for, and all the birds that came right up to her. I remember she bought extra bread for her backyard "pets", and gave them names. She got so much joy from watching them and it tells a lot about the kind of person she was. I hope all these good memories will be a comfort to you. From Gabriel and Christina with love

Aunt Lavern you always made us smile. You took us under your wing and gave your love and food. We always came home with a doggie bag or sack!
