Obituary of Emilia Filice

FILICE, Emilia (Nuccia) nee Basile (proud music teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music of Ontario and also at Pongetti's College of Music, Hamilton) Suddenly and peacefully at home on Saturday, September 6, 2008, in her 84th year. Nuccia Filice, predeceased by her husband Palmo (2004). Loving mother of Stephen and his wife Anne-Marie and Tony. Loving Nonna of Jaclyn, Ryan, Brandon and Katelyn Filice. She will be missed by her family in Italy. The family will receive friends at DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek, Thursday and Friday from 7-9 p.m. (Please note: NO afternoon visitation). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (corner of Barton Street East at Prospect Street) on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Parish prayers on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. Entombment at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
