Lynn and Barry, I am so sorry to hear about your fathers passing. I just found out today. He was such a sweet man, always with a smile. Him and your mom and my parents are having a great chat by now. I am working in Sydney and have not seen AJ in awhile. Please take care and know he is in a better place.

Lynn and Barry My thoughts are with you both during this time. I have so many special memories of the times our families spent together. Whether it was weekend trips to the beach, gatherings at our homes for Christmas, or our family vacations that we shared down East.......so many fun times!! I will miss Uncle Alec and the visits we shared together over the years. Love John

Lynn Barry and Ron: So many fond memories of Uncle Alec, such a fun loving and kind man -a teddy bear! As a kid I can see Uncle Alec running across the gas station lot with a huge green blow up fish he had just bought for all us kids to enjoy at one of our many Sunday trips to the beach ?Evans Point or Kenzie Beach or Knights beach- those waves were awesome and to have that toy!! and Uncle Alec enjoyed the fun riding that shark. I just got my drivers licence at age 16 and Uncle Alec allowed me to share the drive to the annual down East trip to good old Nova Scotia and of course Cape Breton - wow what a car-always a beautiful BIG car!! Then in my 20s your Dad was a huge help in secretly planning Bill & Gerry's(my mom and Dad) 25 Wedding Anniversary Party at the Pavilion 3 on Barton Street July 1980. Dad (Billy)always brought Alec to do many electrical and handyman jobs at our place- give him a case of beer !! I'll miss you Uncle Alec but I know you're in the arms of my sweet Aunt Cecilia and Billy(my Dad) standing near with "any cold beer?) Lynn and Barry you have been blessed with wonderful parents, cherish the many memories. Love Brenda and Tom xoxo

Lynn and Barry thinking of all the wonderful trips I had with your dad, my very own private "Nova Scotia" taxi driver. I was lucky enough that he was willing to put up with me a few times to hitch a ride back to Hamilton after spending sometime down east.
