Obituary of Lois Jennette Anderson

ANDERSON, Lois Jennette (nee Fissette)

Daughter, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend. Lois passed away a few weeks prior to her 95th birthday. The loving wife of Jack (1993) and the proud and loving mother of Paul (Sue), Mary Jane (David Dutchak) and Christine (Bob Slattery) all of Hamilton. Her grandchildren brought much joy to Grandma, Danielle (Jamie Nunn), Matthew (Holly), David (Elizabeth), Ben Dutchak (Nicole) and Krysta (Jake Smith). Her 10 great-grandchildren delighted her. Lois was born in the family home, Cayuga, 1923, the youngest of the six Fissette girls. She married Jack in 1947. They spent most of their married life in Stoney Creek. Lois was an “at home” mom which she loved. A service to celebrate Lois’ life will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
