MUIR, James “Jim”

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 24, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty for 63 years. Loving father of Ann Hamilton (Ernie Kovac), Kim Worobel (Mark Grady), Lori Raudnask (Lembit). Predeceased by son-in-law Bill Hamilton. Cherished Papa of Stacey Battersby (Matt Gera), Jennifer Burnagiel (Dan), Megan Raudnask, Kyle Raudnask (Meaghan) and Great-Papa of Kate, Grayson, Emery, Kaylynn and Shaye. Jim was a long time employee of Stelco and an avid golfer. He will be remembered for his love of family and his many wonderful friends. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Juravinski Hospital for all of their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11 a.m in the Funeral Home Chapel.
