We both were so shocked and saddened to hear of "Nabs" passing. We met Nebrojsa for the first time while laid over at a truck stop in Saint Rose Louisiana over 15 years ago! He wassuch a happy go lucky man..always with the biggest smile, firm handshake and a hug!! It is an honour to have shared the road with such an amazing human being. Our thoughts and prayers are with Slavisa and the rest of his family at this time. He will be greatly missed! Friends, Blair and Sherry Holland

For each of us eventually, whether we are ready or not, some day it will come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours, or days. All the things that you collected whether treasured or forgotten, will be passed on to someone else. Your wealth, fame, and world power will shrivel to irrelevance. It wont't matter what you owned or owed. Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally disappear. So too your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed to important will fade away. It won't matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you once lived. It won't matter if you are beautiful or brilliant. Even your skin color will be irrelevant. So what will matter? How will the values of your days be measured? What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built. Not what you got but what you gave. What will matter is not your success but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage and sacrifice that this enriched, empowered, or encouraged others to follow your example. What will matter is not your competence but your character. What will matter is not how many people you knew but how many will feel your loss when you are gone. What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered by whom and for what. Life lived that matters is not out of circumstance, but out of choice. Nebojsa built an amazing family. He gave his heart to everyone, and put his heart into everything that he did. He was significant because he made contributions to many parts of the Serbian community. Nebojsa taught us all to hold those who are important to us closer than anything and to cherish every moment we have with those we love. His compassion, courage, and sacrifices have enriched, empowered, and encouraged to follow in his footsteps. His authentic, cheery, and funny character was one of a kind. All of us feel his loss because we loved him so dearly. Nebojsa will always be remembered not by circumstance, but by choice, because of the long lasting impacts he has left with us.
