Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the age of 82 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Elizabeta, who celebrated their 62 year wedding anniversary on September 17. Cherished father of Josie Chetwynd (Brian) and Elizabeth Steinbach (Rob). Devoted grandfather of Ricky (Amelia), Robby (Ashley), Sarah (Jack), Joey (Tess) and great-grandfather of Preston and Konnor. Franc was a proud Slovenian from Odranci-Prekmurje. Special thank you to the wonderful staff of Juravinski Hospital and Dr. Bibic for all of your care. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud St. E., Stoney Creek.
