FAST, Claus Dieter

Claus was born in Germany, November 8, 1931 and just two weeks prior to his 86th birthday, passed away peacefully at his home and in the arms of his beloved wife Hanna (Reichart), after 62 years of marriage. Loving father of Roy, Rita (Mike), Douglas (Sharon) and Miranda (Scott). Cherished grandfather of Alexander (Freya), Max, Erica, Renée, Hanna, Greg, Chris, Lindsey, Renata, Sam, Jonah, Charlotte, Emma (Matthew) and darling great-grandson Luca. Claus will be also be missed by his brothers Helmut (Elsbeth), Horst (Anneliese) and their families in Europe along with in-laws; the late Johannes (Hannelore), Rudolf (Traude), Werner (the late Elianne) and their families and Sister Erika Reichart. Claus was a prominent realtor in the Hamilton area for many years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1907 King St. E., Hamilton, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
