Obituary of Victor Martinow

MARTINOW, Victor “Marty” 

Passed away peacefully at Ridgeview Long Term Care in Stoney Creek on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in his 95th year. Predeceased by the love of his life Stella (2002) and his daughter Mary (2002). Proud father to Cathy (John), Mark (Sharon), Darcy (Beth), and Jane. Victor is survived by his grandchildren Adam, Katelyn, Tribecca, Matthew (Carrie), Stephen (Jaylene), Drew, Leah, Alex, Kyle, Scott, Dale, and is also survived by his great-granddaughter Renley. Victor was a proud Second World War Veteran, and was equally a proud retiree of Comstock Canada. Victor’s family would like to thank the entire staff at Ridgeview, especially Heda, Tamara and Sandra for their exceptional care of our father and grandfather. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow, and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
