Obituary of Andrew Sawka

SAWKA, Andrew

November 26, 1922 - October 6, 2017.  Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital with his wife Hanna at his side, on Friday, October 6, 2017.  Predeceased by his wife Helen Sawka (nee Korolova) 2003. Survived by his two sisters in Ukraine Kateryna and Ksenya and many nieces and nephews. Andrew will be sadly missed by his many friends and special friend Luba Raso.  Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at  Holy Spirit Church, 15 Saint Olga St., Hamilton, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10 a.m..
