Peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Peter’s Hospital on September 23, 2017 in his 98th year.  Beloved husband of the late Franca.  Loving father of the late Nikola (Barbara), the late Stjepan (Barica), and Marica (Ivan).  Cherished Deda of Kathy (Rick), Barbara (Rai), Natalija (Bob), Drazen (Cheryl), Biserka (Bart), Marica (Denis), Irena (Trevor) and Snjezana (Zeljko).  Proud Great Grandfather of Ashly, Damian, Tommy, Katarina, Erica, Nikita, Anita, Marinna, Andrea, Ryen, Nikki and Carla.  Petar will also be remembered by his Kumovi and extended family in Croatia and Canada.  Special thanks to Dr. Bibic and Dr. Lambe and St. Peter's Hospital for their wonderful care.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.  Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 1883 King St. E.
