My deepest condolences to your family on the loss of such a lovely lady. I am a fellow EA who had the greatest respect for Jayne and my children attended Boston Public School. They all admired "Mrs. Nixon" but my youngest daughter Kayleigh was particularly saddened by the news as she was in the same class all through school with Samantha Ross( the little Downs Syndrome girl that Jayne work with) . Kayleigh and Jayne became close friends as Kayleigh was always partnered with Samantha during school activities and trips. I have a beautiful picture of Jayne, Samantha and Kayleigh on their graduation day from Boston. Jayne was very kind,generous and caring to all children and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was so sorry to hear of Jayne's passing. I had the privilege of working with her at Onondaga-Brant School. She was a wonderful woman who cared for the students at our school so much! She will be missed. Praying for her family members at this time of loss.

I wanted to say that i knew Jane when i first started out as an Educational Assistant. I am now a teacher and had the pleasure of working with her at Onondaga Brant school where i am Grade 1/2 teacher now for the past 6 years. I really admired her smile and patience with the special needs children. So sorry for your loss. I too lost my husband of cancer so i am thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.

Mrs. Nixon was one of my EAs at Boston Public School; from about grade one, all the way until grade six, I saw Mrs. Nixon every school day at my bathroom time. To the family of Jayne Nixon, Hi. My name is Mary Pearce. For a number of years at Boston Public School, I taught with Jayne. In fact, one year she served as an E.A. in my classroom, assisting Samantha with her learning. Samantha was privileged to have her as an E.A. I really appreciated Jayne's demeanour and character. She was a pleasant, kind, gracious, caring, and respectful colleague. She always conducted herself in a professional manner. She genuinely cared for the students she taught. In our private conversations, she always talked lovingly of her husband,Tom,and family. She was proud of her sons and their accomplishments. (They were not married when she taught in my classroom.) She looked forward to her trips with Tom and enjoyed them immensely. It is so sad her life was abbreviated, but her enduring memory lingers on positively and indelibly in our minds. Thanks, Jayne, for making a positive, loving impact on all of us!
