Obituary of Jean Graham

GRAHAM, Jean (nee Kirkconnell) Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the age of 85, at the Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Fred (1975). Mother of Barry (Darlene), Brian (Janet), Nancy (Roger) and Dawn (Len). Grandmother of Melissa (Trevor), Stephen (Crystal), Elizabeth (Henrik), and Leanne (Chris). Great-grandmother of Graydon and Charlotte, Aidan, Malcolm, Bronwyn, Gwenyth, Vera and Viggo and Cole and Stella. Jean was a former educator and principal with the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, was an active community member, and an avid bridge player. She was a former member of the Glendale Golf and Country Club, and also enjoyed spending her summers at her cottage in Tiverton, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday September 20, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. At Jean's request, there will be no funeral service.
