Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Weir

WEIR, Jean Elizabeth 

Passed away peacefully on August 8, 2017 at the age of 94. Jean is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Harry. She will also be missed by her daughter Sandra Weir-Flitcroft (John Pittman). Proud grandmother to Roxanne Flitcroft -Headrick and Vincent Flitcroft, and great-grandmother to Brodie. Harry and Jean spent their last 33 years together enjoying the view from their dream home they built in Muskoka. Jean’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Macassa Lodge for their compassionate care of Jean during her stay.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington, at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
