McHOLM,  Irene Isabel (nee Pillar)

After a brief battle with cancer, Irene passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2017 at the age of 69 with her loving husband of 42 years, Doug, by her side. Predeceased by her brother Rick in July 2017.  Beloved sister to George Pillar (Jan) and sister-in-law Kathie.  Sister-in-law to David McHolm (Josie) of Vancouver and cherished Aunt to Rick (Jasmine), Dan (Shelley), Karen and Mike. Dear Step-mother to Laura Nixon (Pat) and Becky McDaniel.  Nana will be sadly missed by Rachel, Hilary, Olivia and Sullivan along with her great nieces and nephews Rylinn, Danielle, Shayne, Mila, Eli, Cathryn and Jordan.  A guardian angel forever in our hearts. Irene touched the lives of so many and will be lovingly remembered by family, friends and her beloved Inde.   Cremation has taken place.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date.
