After a full and eventful life, Mary passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2017 in her 91st year.  Wife of the late Vernon and proud mother of her “priceless” children: Mary Theresa (Robert Climie), Suzanne, Vernon, Phyllis (Douglas Lewis), Paul (Marlene) and David (Shannon). Grandma was at her best and most fun when she was spending time with her precious grandchildren: Kevin, Carolyn, Jan-Marie, Richard, Carson, Payton, Lindsay, Matthew and her great grandchildren Reese, Ryder, Mackenzie and Hudson.  Oh, the stories they tell!  Mary was a well respected St. Joe’s RN, a profession she cherished.  Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 3-8 p.m.  A heartfelt thank you to the many caring members of LHIN.  We cannot say enough about their compassion and kindness, especially nurses Fallon and Boey and PSWs Milly, Martha and Brenda.  They all made Mary’s passing a gentle one and allowed the family peace of mind during this difficult time.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
