We were life long friends, and lately every month, as widowers, we would briefly talk by phone to check on each other. When growing up we both lived down No.8 from each other and were high school buddies and we both married farmerettes: Lew- Bobbe from Napanee, and I - Dorrie from London. Lew has been So Blessed: with his over four score and ten years, with his beloved wife Bobbe for over three score years, with 4 wonderful children, with 14 super grandkids, with 11 great-grandkids , . Lew, with Bobbe by his side, was more than a match for life, with his highly-valued strong opinions, his generosity and his loyalty. I haven't been in touch with Lew for quite a few years, but I remember him from hunting with him for quite a long time at the Hugh Buttrum Hunt Camp. He liked to cook and he was a bit of a prankster. I will always think about the good times we had at the camp with him. rest in peace Lew.
