I am saddened to hear of Susan's passing, she will certainly be missed by all of her fellow classmates, and reading these messages, by many others who were lucky enough to have Susan in their lives. She was truly a wonderful example to us all, when struggling with the stress and difficulty of school I only had to look at Susan to see someone who lived through all of this, in addition to the complications of her illness, and did it all with a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. Susan rose to every challenge, I specifically remember her asking me how to use PowerPoint for a class presentation, something she was not comfortable using. Yet she completed an excellent presentation, putting her all into it, as she obviously did in every area of her life.
My prayers are with the family and friends who are missing her so much right now, may you be comforted by the memories of the wonderful, bright, warm woman who left a lasting impression on each of us.

To hear of Susan's passing has brought incredible sadness. As a friend and fellow student of Susan's, she has touched my life in ways that words cannot express. As a mature student, there were many times I wondered how I would ever get through the trials and tribulations of student life. It was Susan's incredible strength and courage that made me realize that you can fulfill your dreams, regardless of the obstacles one must overcome. She had the motivation to suceed and nothing was going to stand in her way. I am thankful she was able to attain her life's dream. I feel entirely blessed to have met such a compassionate and kind individual. Susan will live on in all of us who had the pleasure of knowing such a beautiful person. My thoughts and prayers are with Brian and her family at his difficult time.

Susan was a terrific person in every way, it hurt me to hear of this news as i often thought about how she was doing. When i parted her this year we wished each other good luck with our future, she told me that her family was making her relax which was understandable as she was one busy lady. I will always remember her insight when she spoke in class and the dedication she had. I have shared many wonderful moments in class with Susan as well as on our walks to class. I will always remember how happy she was after she came back from a concert with her sister ( I don’t remember who it was but I am sure her sister does) the happiness was unreal and lingered within me. I am so proud of her fro graduating and I would like to send my deep condolences to the family. All the best.

I think I can speak for all of Susan's classmates when I say that I have never seen such a dedicated, hard-working, intelligent individual. Susan always brightened up the classroom and always put 110% into the work that she did. She had a sharp mind and a whimsical spirit and she will not be forgotten. It is sad to know that she will not be graduating on Thursday but I know she will be there with us in spirit- she wouldn't miss it for the world.
My thoughts are prayers are with you.

We had the honour of meeting Susan at the store we work in. Over the years she would come in to buy clothes at Northern Reflections. We were drawn to her because even though she had M.S. she was so friendly, happy and determined to get her degree. We would talk about family, school, yoga and of how she was doing. What a wonderful person, we were truly inspired by her.
To her husband Brian, parents and family, our sincere condolences go out to you all.

From: Matt Roberts. I have fond memories of Susan from summers when I was a child on News island. I remember our two families the Roberts and the Farleys sharing daily life on the island. We would be together for meals and fellowship in the main house and swimming down at the dock. I think I got my love for cats from seeing uncle Frank's cats on the island.I also remember many enjoyable outings with the Farleys to places like Santa's Village and Dinosaur park. I'm sad to hear of Susan's passing. My condolences to Aunt Janet and Uncle Frank , Beth and the family.
