Obituary of Sheila Elizabeth Zdriluk
ZDRILUK, Sheila Elizabeth
November 4, 1934 to July 9, 2017
It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful lady, a loving Mum and a proud Nana. Sheila passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Sheila is predeceased by her husband, Nick (1998) and survived by her children, Richard, Brenda and Gerry Lubinski, Pam and Joe Terbrack and Susan and Denis Cadorette. Her 13 grandchildren, Cara and Jason Rodgers, Melissa and Greg Carter, Christopher Lubinski, Brent and Marleigh Terbrack, Dean Zdriluk, Nathan Terbrack and Natasha Riccitelli-Silva, Drew Terbrack, Jesse and Kate Cadorette and her great-granddaughter Mackenzie Rodgers and her cat Willow.
Sheila was a very active and creative lady and loved sharing her art of quilting, knitting and other talents. She was the founding President of the Stoney Creek Quilters Guild. Over the years she was able to pass along her love for these arts by sharing and teaching many of her talents with others. Some of her passions included such things as knitting Preemie Hats for MacKids and creating Wheelchairs Lap Quilts to comfort those in need.
A special thank you to the Nurses, Doctors and Respiratory Therapists of the Juravinski CICU for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Sheila’s Life will take place on Friday, July 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue, Stoney Creek, followed by a Private family interment at East Lawn Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of Flowers we ask for donations to the Juravinski Hospital in Sheila’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
