Obituary of Edward Venn

VENN, Edward

At home on June 28, 2017 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Marie for over 60 years. Loving father of Edward and Ernest. Dear grandfather of Lina and Julie. Survived by his eldest sister Margaret Reynolds,  youngest sister Patricia Christmas, brother-in-law Bill and his wife Dyanne Bilechuk and his sister-in-law Shirley Tapp and their families. Ed was the former Chief of Police for Stoney Creek and retired as Sgt. with the Hamilton-Wentworth Police Department. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 12-3 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington at a later date. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
