It was sad to hear that my uncle Alex had passed away and also Mary soon afterwards. It is very many years since I last met them on a family visit over from the UK with my late parents – Doreen (Alex’s sister) and Dennis – but I have fond memories of that time and a special trip to the races at Flamborough. I was very sad to hear of Alex's passing when I called last Friday night. We had a lot of good times together during our years at Ainsworth Electric, a couple of these included 'The assembly of waffle irons and the partnership in 'Brady Cash'. He was very classy and fun to be around. Although our lives took us down different paths he was thought of often and fondly. He will be missed. Mike Lee

I am so sorry to hear of Alex's passing. I remember him well from the days we used to race at Flamboro. He was always kind, friendly and an honest gentleman. It has been many years since I hung around the tracks in Ontario. We used to race at Flamboro, Mohawk, and Greenwood all the time. I would look forward to hearing Alex's take on a race while we were watching from the backstretch. My sincere condolences David and Linda and the entire family. May you all find strength together.
