PAETKAU, Catherine “Kay” (nee MacDonald)

With broken hearts filled with memories, we announce the passing of our dear mom, on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late John D. And loving mother of Patti and John (Sandra). Very proud Nana of Joshua and Christian. Survived by her sisters Faye McNeil, Margie MacKinnon, Lorraine Campbell, Joanne McIntyre and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Chris Roch, Isabel MacInnis, Teresa Basker, Neil MacDonald, Angus MacDonald, Vincent MacDonald and Agnes MacDonald. Special thanks to the staff at Shalom Village. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation or Shalom Village would be greatly appreciated.
