Walter was my longtime friend from the time we met at Mount Hamilton Baptist Church in the late '40's till the present time. Our two families helped set up Stoney Creek Baptist Church and were deeply involved in it. I always respected Walter's Christian values.Walter and Dorothy's friendship was important to our lives.Walter and I continued to communicate all our lives, and I was happy to hear that he and Miriam had formed a friendship.

I remember Uncle Walt as a wonderful part of my childhood as he and Aunt Dorothy were my parents' (George and Leta Vinall) closest friends. He had the most welcoming smile and was always kind and always ready to joke and laugh. I'm glad he had such a long life and glad to have known him.

Walter F. Kilby I have known for some time now that Walter was a teacher of all things. His method was simple, lead by example. If is not long since his journey has come to an end, yet, on more than one occasion when faced with a choice or decision to make I have already found that I ask myself....... What would Walter Do? His character has become the foundation of my conscience. Never will you meet a man who more faithfully lived his values. Rest is Peace my Dear Beloved Walter. Randy Guzar
