STEWART, Gail Ann (nee Jefkins)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail on June 4, 2017 with family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. Gail is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Beloved wife of Roy for five and a half years. Dear mother to Joy Book-Tamas (Csala) and  loving sister to Laureen (Larry). Predeceased by her parents Sir Charles and Hilda Jefkins, infant daughter Barbara May, and sisters Ruth (Alex), Betty (Dave), and Ella May. Gail will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gail’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s ICU for their thoughtfulness and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s memory to St. Joseph’s Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
