Obituary of Gabriel Fabi

FABI, Gabriel (C.F.C.C.) After many happy times, Gabriel passed away at St. Catharines General Hospital with his family by his side, on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father of Jane Rebecca Balasiuk and her husband Will and Thomas Caesar. Proud Nonno of Azlyn . Predeceased by his parents Mario and Gina Fabi and Zio Settimio. Survived by his sister Angela DiToro and her husband Tony and their children; Anthony, Michael and Andrea. Special nephew of Maria Nespeca. Gabriel was born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy and will be fondly remembered by his family there as well as the Wills family in Binbrook. Gabriel was a leader in the hospitality industry in Niagara Falls and will be missed by all of his colleagues. Special thanks to the Dialysis Nurses, Technicians and Staff at the Dialysis Unit, The St. Catharines Site., You made a difficult time better. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gabriel’s life will be held at the Queenston Heights Restaurant, Niagara Parkway, on Saturday, February 21st at 3 p.m. The interment of his cremated remains will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Stanley Ave., Niagara Falls on Tuesday, February 24th at 10 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined, as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation, specifically The New Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
