Sorrow is one of many words that can describe such a devastating event. All of us out here on the west coast are sending our thoughts and prayers to our family back east as well as to anyone affected. We, unfortunately, have not been able to visit out there and see all of our beautiful family in too long. The memories we do have, however, are all positive and full with great times alongside great people like uncle Rob. One memory Dawson and I prominently remember was when he got stung by a bee in the eye and it swelled over his entire eye and it looked horribly painful but we could not hold back a little laughter at the funny looking bulging eyelid. Times like these, plus many more allow us to mourn and reminisce on memories that allow us to remember our uncle and our encounters. We are going to miss him, but we are forever grateful that we were able to meet such an amazing, caring and strong man that we have the honour to call family. We will forever miss our uncle Rob. We wish we could be out there with our love and support, but we will just have to send it from here. Rest in Paradise <3

Anne and family, Gord, Ken and Michele, and extended family, please accept our sincere condolences on the sudden passing of Rob. While some of us didn't know him well, on the occasions we did meet, he certainly proved to be and engaging and powerful personality. Ken would update us periodically on some of his more hilarious antics, and surely he was the bright light in many family occasions. May he rest well, and in peace.
